You amp might have a different mapping curve then. My Marantz is like
that. AirPmay is -30 to 0 and -30 is *not* mute, mute is -144. There is
nothing between -144 and -30. So the -30 to 0 has to be matched to the
SB player's curve which 1..100 as 0 is mute. My Marantz has very flat
curve over 80, non linear. You can approximate it with as many points as
you want in the volume mapping parameter. The default is a linear
matching is 3 points to give an example, but 2 would have suffice
obviously 30:1, -15:50, 0:100
