In my setup, WiFi quality had the biggest impact on Spotty performance. Not sure what APs you use, but it might help to try upgrading your firmware to the latest revision. I am running Ubiquiti APs - 1 AC Pro and 1 AC Lite, upgraded the firmware last month and (fingers crossed) performance has been flawless. I also updated to a recent 7.9.2 nightly from 7.9.1 and updated Spotty at the same time, so it could be a combination of any of those factors. Im giving credit to the WiFi primarily because I used to get periodic drops streaming video before and thats stopped as well, so unrelated to my LMS setup.
