Yes we are using librespot for the Spotify Connect player, as well. However, the plugin is meant as an alternative for people who want to run a standalone player without Squeezebox system in the network. For all multiroom purposes we expressly recommend using only Spotty.
But is there any chance they would be launched at the same time, eg. because the user didn't know (or ignored) the two different use cases?
