Hi bpa, Mplayer runs fine without any parameters - it outputs a list of basic usage details to the command window. However, the Radio 4 stream does exactly the same as described above, i.e. puts up a Dr Watson Error dialog box just after the last line of the output below appears (and Radio 4 does not play).
