I'm using iPhones so I'm using iPeng, I can't tell much for Android, I rarely use my Android tablets. I really do think using LMS as a UPnP/DLNA server like you did in the past does not makes it justice :-) and is quite a non-stable setup. Others might have different opinion, I just don't like UPnP in general, and the server part in particular. Standard definition is okay, but there is no proper compliance enforcement so everybody does what he wants, hence the result in a jungle > > 3. when I say slow.. It's an issue with LMS (probably an old version) when sending PCM audio. So just authorize format with a proper header like mp3 and flac.
