That's all perfectly normal for a pi3, my green lights flash too, and they are just players. By default, the green light is showing activity on the microsd port...... but it is just activity....not necessarily a read or a write. I think most of what you are seeing is the firmware checking if the card is present.
I think the issue still has to be in your home network, or in the pi hardware.
