Done some more testing today with 1.1.0.6 - and it seems to work pretty well, I've had no issues at all. Trying to change as little from the default settings as possible with Transcode set to FLAC and Flow ticked and Gapless set to Yes everything worked ok - all files played, no white noise and no missed steps on a track change. Feeling ambitious also set Transcode to PCM and made sure pcm was set in codecs - and that worked too! In the upnpbridge.log it's reporting L16 & 44kHz - even when a 24bit/192Khz file is playing and resample rate/size are both set to source - but not sure if that's significant ? $ grep Content upnpbridge.log Content-Type: audio/x-flac Content-Type: audio/L16;rate=44100;channels=2 Content-Type: audio/x-flac Content-Type: audio/L16;rate=44100;channels=2 Tried both Plain 24 and Packed Type 1 - no change to what was reported in the log - but both played music ok. So for the CD-N301 at least v1.1.0.6 seems to work well both in pass-through mode and when transcoding to FLAC or PCM.
