my previous proposal about the stretch installation seems to work on a midterm basis - I had no major issues using MusicIp or Sugarcube so far using the Max2Play Stretch version... There is one side effect so far which returned, however I am not sure if this is a stretch-related issue or is related to some changes to LMS during the last couple of months: While importing a big library, the memory requirements of MusicIP increase linearly with the number of files. 900k memory requirements correspond about 20k files to import. The proposal to set the LMS performance settings to "normal" does not seem to help anymore in contrast to previous reports with older versions of LMS and Jessie.
For large collections - there shouldn't be a limit of the swapsize as long as you edit these files: sudo nano /etc/dphys-swapfile (change conf_swapsize to desired value) sudo nano /sbin/dphys-swapfile ((change conf_maxswap to desired value) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ frankd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52885 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106958 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
