Do you need to edit two swap size files? I only edited
"etc/dphys-swapfile" 
I  chose 2GB after a first full scan ran out of memory when it was set
to 1GB (47000 tracks). 
If you remember, my musicIP server used to take more than 2 minutes to
start up on Jessie for unknown reasons. With my OSMC install it was
faster but still around 1 minute. Now it takes around 20 seconds so I am
happy with that.
