Here's what happened to me : (SS only scans MM library, no folder setup) When ss initially scans (or rescans) MM's cache, everything's fine: 13002 songs by 248 artists on both sides. But if by chance, SS reloads while MM is validating new songs (I'm assuming this is the cause, but could be wrong), then SS's stats go : 12997 songs by 229 artists. I tried to browse like you did, but I shoudn't have... by artists : 229 all albums : 234 all songs : 262 !!!! (I must say here that I have very clean tags : totally blank ID3v1, blank 'composer' 'orig. artist' 'album artist' etc...) No need to say that this is slowly driving me insane. And, being rather stubborn, I won't let go until everything matches. Someone here (sorry for having forgotten your nick) said he's set the reload interval to 10min. Well I think one has to be very lucky, never to see those events 'collide'. And whenever this happens, you'll end up with another rescan from scratch... I don't know about books or podvast, not having any, but I originally set (or kept set) the 'disabled tracks' exclusion. I have 92 such tracks (not analyzed) The GUI is happy with this, and won't deal with them. But the server still sees 92 more tracks to validate, and if I ever add, say, another 10-songs-album and start validation, the server begins to validate all 102 songs ! (what's more not the latest added first) There's just no other solution for me that going through the whole process once. Well, that's currently my computer's occupation. So in the future the server will just validate new songs, and maybe I'll temporarily disable the reload while doing this. It's such a pity that MM's GUI and server mode wouldn't share those settings...
