The BBCiPlayer plugin has no special support for VPN - it has to be implemented at OS level. BBC uses two CDNs - it is worth trying both live menus "Listen Live" which is Akamai and "Listen Live - alt CDN" which is Limelight. If neither work then the problem is with the VPN supplier.
