I now see from what philippe has just written that I was wrong - sorry. The other main possibility is that no device is detected. I just tried again to run my stand-alone version disconnected from the network, and I did indeed get no config file.

Also Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.
