Pretty sure the Touch has more RAM than an SB3 and therefore more buffer space. I nipped out for 5 mins but first switched to a local file before pausing the SB3. On return the plugin is still working properly but the FLAC url is now stuck on old metadata like you had earlier. It looks like Proxied Streaming is the answer for an SB3 and the plugin anyway. Presumably the plugin must use more buffer space than the direct url stream.
