LMS requires lame to decode mp3 files, unless you create a custom-convert.conf with rules to use mpg123. You can download a 'lame binary for macOS' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/utility/lame-3.100-osxhs.tar.gz/download) instead.
