When I started using Synology (10-series), I found out quickly that hibernation was not possible because I run a mail server, web server and LMS. It never bothered me. I just checked there info about Hibernation and it has evolved over time. Still there are a few preconditions to make hibernation possible: https://www.synology.com/en-global/knowledgebase/DSM/tutorial/Management/What_stops_my_Synology_NAS_from_entering_System_Hibernation But I'll definitely will take a look and see if I can get by Nas into hibernation!
