Just tried and the Perl error is gone :) The result when running it with
no arguments is a plain 'Done.', not sure if I should expect anything
more verbose. Then I run with the IP:PORT for the LMS server running
Spotty. I then got no output, no 'Done.' I mean. Then looking into the
server.log (spotty logging set to Info level) does not show anything
that I can connect to running this, only the regular getMetaDataFor
entries as shown below.

So went on to install Spotify on the server running LMS and Spotty. Then
running the latest file you put in dropbox on the server. I got the
exact same results, 'Done.' when running without args, and nothing when
running with IP:PORT. The log showing nothing apart from the
getMetaDataFor entries again.
