As discussed previously - this is a chrome "feature". The reason it
appears is because the connection to LMS is not encrypted - its http,
not https. So, any text sent is in the clear - so chrome is telling the
user about this. You can use kiwi (as suggested by slartibartfast) or
use the Material android app created by another user (I can't remember
the URL).

However how does this make it "pointless"??? Annoying behaviour I agree
- but does not make it pointless!
