Not wanting to achieve, just to understand. So don't overthink things that do not matter anyway-" What you state IS the case where LMS and the end point are connected over a network but as I have shown, this is not the case where the files are local to LMS and squeezelite runs on the same PC as LMS (i.e. all components needed for playback: file. server, client are co-located).
