I tried again. It still does not work.
I see what you are saying. Though my computer is in English, I can
still go into Logitech Media Server settings and change the language to
French (or any other language for that matter). I see in SLX that
certain items do not appear in French, though they do when using a
regular browser. And the classic skin appears correctly.
This is due to the way those skins work: the Classic (or anything
shipped with LMS) would all be rendered on the server, only taking the
server language setting in to account. Requests over jsonrpc or cometd
can override the server side setting. In those cases the client's
language header would be used to localize responses.
Why you would get a mix I'm not sure. Could it be that some parts of the
Material skin were loaded before the language switch? You'd then have to
fully reload the main window.
