Syncing is a different concept from the multi-room feature. The use-case scenario for multi-room is where your computer has multiple sound cards, which in turn drive separate audio systems (presumably in different rooms). It is an unusual scenario. I don't have multiple sound cards to test it, so I call the feature experimental. If you enable a multi-room player, SLX will create another instance of a Squeezelite player. You should choose an Output Device on a separate sound card with its separate outputs (often a USB sound card). Again, syncing is a separate concept that is handled by Logitech Media Server. You can, of course sync Multi-Room Players, but that is not what the Multi-Room feature in SLX does. Hope that explanation helps. If not, perhaps give me some additional detail on what you are trying to do and try and help.
