On my ubuntu system, upnpbridge.prefs is indeed in the ../prefs/plugin directory, but upnpbridge.xml is in ../prefs/ . That's the way it works on my system.

Also Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.
