Happy new year and may many hours of good music come your way. I have noticed something recently when I skip to the midle of a track I notice a volume drop. is this expected because the song is as of then transcoded to pcm, and is this expected? or is it because the normalization factor is only aplied by the transcoder and ignored when playing ogg-vorbis?
