I'm looking into this. It seems like it *might* be possible to to automatically restart app after an update. I think the approach would involve creating and registering a background task that the update infrastructure would call after an update and then restarting the app from there. One thing I am not sure about is whether I can pull this off with the tools I have available and whether it works with a "Desktop Bridge" application, which SLX is. As for deferring updates for an app that is running, I'm not sure. If automatic updates are enabled, it seems to just happens outside of my control, but there may be a way. I'm looking into it.
