Great! Thanks for the feedback! I uploaded 1.86 which should fix that

SlimCD is run from ramdisk. There's not write access to your pen drive  
except for backup. The idea (besides having a read only system) is not to  
wear out the flash media. As the backup is only run at shutdown, you  
should not forget to run it manually after eg. you've scanned your  
collection. Otherwise the scan will be lost if the machine crashes. You  
might want to have a look at cron to automate backups (I did configure it  
to back up once a day).

They write it's booting from USB pen drive. I don't know about flash card.  
IDE flash adapters should be fine (it's what I'm using myself). It shows  
up like any other disk connected to an IDE adapter (hda).

You are - but it should eventually work. I always said that SlimCD is  
_not_ an out of the box slimserver solution, but needs some adjustment to  
make it work properly. Which should not surprise as it's the by-product of  
my effort to run SlimServer on a damn small linux distribution.
