The problem does not occur all the time, but not only when auto-starting. I tried the log, but it seems to log the current session only. Also, the problem did not occur today after a reboot. That was with 2.6.7. The freshly arrived 2.6.8 starts without a hitch, too. I'll keep you posted. Thank you and Happy Easter!
