Ok, I can confirm that the scanner fails on Fedora 32. Set it up in a VM and am seeing the exact error as you. And:
How did you install your LMS? Using yum and the .rpm file? How comfortable would you be extracting a tarball over your installation to see whether an update to all those dependencies would work?
