For completeness and in case people like to delving into BBC APIs

Each "Listen Again"program on BBC Sounds has a web page URL like
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000jnly where "m000jnly" is PID

To find the snippets - the follwoing download into a file called
m000jnly

Code:
--------------------

  wget https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000jnly
  grep "<bbc-snippet" <m000jnly

--------------------

This produces a list of snippet id code which can be formed into a URL
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/snippet/n66xd8,n66xd9,n66xdd,n66xx8,n66xx9,n66xxr.json

This is a JSON for all the snippets - with MP3 links and no time
offsets.

BBC seems to using a new API prefixed by RMS (Radio & Music Services) -
it is partiallydocumented here
https://rms.api.bbc.co.uk/docs/#/

An RMS URL replaced the nhpolling URL to used to provide the "current
track" with an URL like
https://rms.api.bbc.co.uk/v2/services/bbc_radio_three/segments/latest?limit=1

Interesting that "services" is not mentioned in the documentation URL
above.

The segment URL providing like the following belongs to the "open.live"
APIs which seems to be less used now.
http://open.live.bbc.co.uk/aps/programmes/b08hpvx5/segments.json

This URL provides info with offsets but no images. As it is open.live &
JSON I fear it may be retired as it used to be used with BBC Web
browser live player and the RMS segments URL now seem to be used there
instead.
