So your Russound controls the power to the squeezebox?  So everytime
you decide to play/stop music it does a full hard power on/off? 
Couldn't you just connect the SB to an outlet that is always powered
and just leave your SB always in play mode?  I'm not familiar with
Russound, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's a whole-house system that
it would support sending IR commands.  In that case you can leave the SB
always powered and have the Russound send a power on and play (I think
even just a play would work) when a room wants sound.

We'll stick the potential for tides to 7.0 then.  I've cleaned up the
code quite a bit on my local copy that will make adding stuff MUCH
easier down the road.  I checked out your weather service link.  That
site is weird.  It seems very inconsistent for different sites... not
good.  Oh well.
