Only a hint for the artists. If you placed a few new files into the arist artwork folder you dont have to do a new scan. It is enough to restart LMS itself. And the easiest way to update the fotos is to put the files into the folder copy&paste the name from the .missing file to the new foto and delete the .missing file. Then you will not have any problems with strange artist names.
