Oh how I wish I had stuck on the stuff that worked and not twisted and bust!
I've been refrain ing from an itunes 6 to 7 upgrade for some time for all sorts of reasons - not least of which was a stable working Slim/iTunes and iTunesUpdate setup. Finally upgraded the other day (from 6.x to 7.1.1.5) and all went horribly wrong. Initally my slim setup crashed (I assumed needing a library rebuild which I couldn't seem to initiate) so I did a fresh clean install of 6.5.1 along with a clean install of iTunesUpdate 2.1.0. Net result is iTunes and smil are now OK, but whilst Slim nows the update plugin is installed and enabled, no updates are being made. Slim is set to run on login. iTunesUpdate is installed in Direct Update mode. Help!
