Thanks for your reply James. I'm not sure which plug-in is doing the ratings to be honest...i installed them both and when the song is playing i hold down the 1-5 button to get the rating up there. so i assume that's the itunesupdate one?? I will enable that flag and post the logs after playing around with it. and btw, i'm sure many have said this before me but it warrants repeating...you are THE MAN for creating the plugins you've created. I use almost all of them but the itunesupdate is fantastic. That's why it's killing me that it's not working as it once did.
