iPlayer and Sounds sends the same AAC stream - so CBR vs VBR is not
significant as it is eye-candy and not relevant.

That said, there is some other difference - not clear what.  Enable
player.source logging to INFO and try to play a program to show why LMS
can't handle the Sounds stream.
