You can try to restart SlimServer after you have made the changes, but if that doesn't help it might be bug.

There has been some bugs recently in Custom Browse and Multi Library that resulted in that a restart was needed to make changes take effect. An active library only means that if you have selected the "Limit to active library" option in one of the Custom Browse menu, that menu will be limited to the library you have currently activated.
