Does Moose look at the ALBUMARTIST (BAND in MP3tag) tag? I am not a tagging expert, but I think this is also called the TPE2 tag. That might be an easy way to tackle the problem ... I'm pretty certain this is how SlimServer does it ... uses the ALBUMARTIST tag if it exists, reverts to the ARTIST tag if ALBUMARTIST is blank ...
