The error I reported earlier is in the scanner.log file. Would it help
for me to send you that?

I'm not sure the would add anything to identify the problem. As long as you have 502/504 errors in server.log there's an issue you can't do much about.

I'm in UK. I'm running LMS on PiCorePlayer: would it help to remove LMS
and its Cache via the PCP interface and then reinstall it there from
scratch?

It probably wouldn't hurt, but I believe it's a waste of time.

Are you using any kind of proxy server on your network?
