I just submitted version 2.8.3 to the MS Store (And legacy installers to
the OneDrive location). Usually takes a day or three to get published.
Changes
- Added option to show progress in taskbar icon. If enabled, then you
will see the taskbar icon indicate progress for the current playing
song. It will show you paused status as well. If listening to a
radio station with no defined duration, you will also see a progress
indication (minimal) and it won't progress. Also, whether this option
is enabled or not, SLX will indicate error status in the taskbar icon
as well, for example it will turn red if the server is unexpectedly
disconnected.

- Added option to start up in "Expanded Now Playing" when using
Material Skin.

- Fixed some minor issues with theming/coloring. Previously,
depending on your windows settings, you could get a white border
around the main window, which we don't want. Hide the server name in
caption bar when it does not fit.

- Updated to latest stable version of Chromium Embedded Framework
library.
