There is a number of different ways to detect singles:
1. By adding a specific COMMENT tag value on all your files that is
part of a single
2. By adding a custom tag on all your files that is part of a single
(Requires the Custom Scan plugin)
3. By adding a specific value on a custom tag on all your files that is
part of a single (Requires the Custom Scan plugin)
4. By setting a specific GENRE tag on all your singles
5. By NOT setting the ALBUM tag, so the tracks belongs to "No Album" in
SlimServer. The singles menu can detect this an put all these tracks in
a Singles menu.
6. By defining a library that identifies your singles, for example by
putting the singles in a specific directory (Requires the Multi Library
plugin)
