Ran the log and don't find anything that explicitly mentions Audio Research or DAC8. One detail is I recently performed an in situ update to pcP 8.0 thinking that might help and now get a different list of output options - none of which work as well. When I try manually entering common values like "hw:CARD=DAC, DEV=0" then Squeezelite won't start.
