Ok, it sort of works from the command prompt. I created a batch file to
start the server from the startup folder and when I press Play on a
selected batch it is executed. I guess the next questions is... Does
the Execute Plugin needs to run in the forground? Is not very elegant,
but I can live with it. Just have to make sure not to close the Window
as it stops the server... as expected. Can the plugin be modified to
start automatically or to start via the Slimtray? It basically makes
the Slimtray useless.

I'm also still unable to get the selected script for each of the
options of the Execute Script in the SB to stick via the remote. The
options default back to (none). The selections stick in the Web UI, but
they appear to have no effect on the SB.

In order to put the server to sleep I need to select the Sleep batch
from one of the options and press Play. If I select a script for the
Power Off option from the Web UI, pressing Power turns off the SB, but
"nothing" happens in the server. I have to press play to make anything
happen at the server.

One other thing, I notice after starting the server from the command
prompt that the Execute Script option appears twice in the SB. It
appears in the Main menu and in the Plugin menu. This does not happen
when I start the server automatically or via the SlimTray.

I can now turn off the server via the remote by pressing play after
selecting the Sleep script and turn it on via WOL when I turn on the SB
and select connect to Slimserver. I'm happy, but still not jumping on
one leg. My Sleep batch files waits for 60 seconds before putting the
PC to sleep. This gives me enough time to press a few keys and switch
the SB to the SqueezeNetwork before the server disconnects. The icing
on the cake would be if I could make the SB put the server to sleep via
the remote and switch to the Squeezenetwork whenever I press the power
button. Maybe the switch from SlimServer to Squeezenetwork can be
accomplished via a combination of Plugins and executable scripts in the
server. I asked about adding a feature to switch from SN to SS a while
back and was told to submit a feature request for the SqueezeNetwork. I
don't recall, but I think someone had already submitted a similar
request.
