I don't use this plugin anymore so each tie a queryt comes up I have install. The data for music info can change. However, on my Ubuntu I just installed CD plugin V1.1.1 and plugged in an external drive and V1.11 It find the CDs and the metatadata from CDDB and MusicBrainz. I initiually had prlems playback (on Y connection need to plug power USB plug in before data USB plug) Try changing the metadata lookup for your disk to MusicBrainz. After changing the settings it is best to eject CD and go back to top menu so that lookup is clean.
