Yes and no. (I have Khorns too, but I've adjusted the mid and tweeter
to be physically time aligned... there's still a huge delay in the bass
driver's positioning).

If you measure the room response, then the measurement will "see" the
time delay between drivers, and attempt to fix the impulse response to
become more like a single impulse. To do this it will adjust phase
across the frequency range to some extent.

But in the crossover regions, there's really nothing that can be done
to fix the underlying time delay. There's only a single signal coming
out the Squeezebox and into the loudspeaker; in the speaker it gets
passed to the various drivers, and then travels through air to the
listening position. DRC of the overall signal means that at the
measured position, the wavefronts will all more or less line up. But
that's only in the aggregate, for that one position.

To really fix time delays you'd need three analog outputs from
Squeezebox -- one for each driver -- and then three amplifiers per
channel; and a digital crossover filter that separates the various
frequency ranges and adjusts time delay for each. Since Squeezebox
only has stereo analog output, there's really no way to do this with
current hardware.

I'm hopeful that SlimServer can do this, eventually; maybe with a
multichannel SqueezeSlave into a multichannel sound card, instead of
the Slim playback hardware; or hopefully with some Slim hardware built
for 6- or more channels of analog out. But not yet.

Meanwhile running DRC on a multi-way speaker does give a worthwhile
improvement, even where there's a big time misalignment between the
drivers. It's just not the theoretical best possible approach :-)
