I've thought a bit about this too. The issue I have thought about is
the "Now Playing" screen. It doesn't make sense to show the same
information for "Classical" music as for "Pop/Rock" music. For
classical music you would like to display things like: Composers,
Ensembles, Works
For Rock/Pop music on the other hand this is not interesting, instead
it is enough to display the artist.

As I see it there are two possible ways to implement this:

1.
Make it possible to define different layouts in MusicInfoSCR, you can
then define that for classical music the upper row should display
"CUSTOMSCAN_MIXEDTAG_COMPOSER" and for pop/rock music it could instead
be configure it to show "ARTIST".

2.
Make a plugin where it is possible to define a virtual title format
that returns different information for different tags. I could then
define a "VIRTUALFORMAT1" that will return the value of
"CUSTOMSCAN_MIXEDTAG_COMPOSER" for classial music and the value of
"ARTIST" for pop/rock music.

The advantage of the first solution is that you can have completely
different layouts, but I think the second solution would be good
enough. I think the only situations that the second solution doesn't
cover is that you can't use the internal keyword of MusicInfoSCR. As an
example it wouldn't be possible to show the progressbar on pop/rock
music but don't show it on classical music.
The advantage of the second solution is that the title formats would
also be usable in other places, for example in the track listings in
the web interface.

Independent on the solution, there is a problem that needs to be
solved. How do you select which layout to use. Genre is certainly one
way, but what do you display if a track has multiple genres, for
example both "Classical" and "Pop" ?
The Multi Library plugin would be another way, but it has the same
issue, the same track can be in two virtual libraries at the same time.
