I haven't seen this in my own setup, it works perfectly here, but I
haven't tested it with the STYLE attribute just some of the other
attributes.

Can you thing of anything that could cause this ? 
Did the style attribute you selected contain any unusual non ascii
characters ?
Is the problem only related to the STYLE attribute or do you have the
same problem with all the attributes, for example is the playlist name
and genre list saved correctly ?

Are you sure more than one actually was selected ? 
In my setup I need to hold Ctrl down if I like to select more than one
element in the lists, if I don't the first selected will be unmarked
when I select another element.

Custom Scan currently always rescan everything, the reason is that I
haven't found any way to detect which files the standard SlimServer
rescans.
Do you see this as a problem ? Does the Custom Tag/Mixed Tag scannings
take too much time ?
