This seems to be an intermittent thing.
I haven't seen this in my own setup, it works perfectly here, but I haven't tested it with the STYLE attribute just some of the other attributes. Can you thing of anything that could cause this ? Did the style attribute you selected contain any unusual non ascii characters ? Is the problem only related to the STYLE attribute or do you have the same problem with all the attributes, for example is the playlist name and genre list saved correctly ? egd;227384 Wrote: > I've also noticed that selecting more than one attribute from a single > listbox only results in the first being written to the corresponding > .values file. Are you sure more than one actually was selected ? In my setup I need to hold Ctrl down if I like to select more than one element in the lists, if I don't the first selected will be unmarked when I select another element. egd;227384 Wrote: > > - If I don't select a STYLE/THEME/MOOD to include and/or exclude I > presume that the attribute is simply ignored in the construct of the > SQL statement - eg if I select only STYLE = Singer/Songwriter and don't > select anything in the THEME and MOOD listboxes the resultant SQL > statement ignores THEME and MOOD as criteria? Yes, that's correct. egd;227384 Wrote: > > - when adding new albums to a library and running a Look for changes > scan in slimserver, do the Custom and Mixed Tag scanning routines > follow suite or do they rescan the entire population of audio files? > Custom Scan currently always rescan everything, the reason is that I haven't found any way to detect which files the standard SlimServer rescans. Do you see this as a problem ? Does the Custom Tag/Mixed Tag scannings take too much time ? egd;227384 Wrote: > > - something else that springs to mind: would it be possible to build a > random playlist that uses a seed song's GENRE and/or STYLE and/or MOOD > and/or THEME attributes as the selection criteria? Great idea, I think this would be possible so I will add it to the wish list. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.homeip.net) 'My download page' (http://erland.homeip.net/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.homeip.net/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38256 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
