On the NAS, my library is stored at: /raid/data/AudioLIB Playlists etc. including all Custom and Mixed Tag path settings point to: /raid/data/module/SLIMSERVER/system/etc The folder permissions of the latter are fine in that I can read/write playlists to /raid/data/module/SLIMSERVER/system/etc via slimserver. Selecting them for playing of course results in an empty playlist as there are no records with matching criteria. If it would be useful I can upgrade the NAS slimserver module to the latest version which should allow me to access the underlying database via either my Linux or Windows desktops - this way I will be able to physically see what is happening in the tables. I just hope (I cannot remember) that installing a newer module does not require another full library rescan. Custom scan is still going.
