That should work, I just tested in my own setup with the extra space
and it works correctly.

If you have the Database Query plugin installed you can try to create a
freeform query and run the following to see if any information has been
stored in the Custom Scan track attributes table:

Code:
--------------------

select module, attr, count(*) from customscan_track_attributes group by
module,attr

--------------------

When you hit the "Scan All" in the "Custom Scan" interface or when you
look in the "Custom Scan" interface directly after the SlimServer
scanning has finished, does it say "Running" beside the "Custom Tag"
and "Mixed Tag" scanning moudules ?

Check that the "Include in automatic scans and "Scan All"" parameter is
activated on both "Custom Tag" and "Mixed Tag" scanning module.

If you look in the SlimServer log after you have performed a scanning,
do you see any errors.
You will find the log by browsing to: http://yournas:9000/log.txt

There is also a debug logging parameter in the bottom of the "Custom
Scan" section in "Server Settings/Plugin", if you enable it you should
be able to see in the log that the Custom Scan is actually is
performed, but I don't think it will show any more details about your
problems. You should get an entry in the log for each file that is
scanned.

What file format are you using ?
Are you using MP3, FLAC or something else ?

Is the files that are working in the test system also part of the
production library, or could it be that the files in the production
library is tagged differently ?

How is the SlimServer scanner configured ?
Does it scan everything in the music folder specified in "Server
Settings" or are you using the Music Magic or iTunes integration for
scanning ?

Is both the test and production system running on the NAS, or is it
just the production system which doesn't work that run ono the NAS ?
