It's actually pretty simple. 1. Install all of the XCode tools. This is on one of the CDs you got with your system.
2. Download the mplayer source from http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html to your desktop. 3. Double-click on the file you downloaded. 4. Go to Utilities>Terminal 5. Type 'cd Desktop/MPlayer-1.0rc1' (assuming you downloaded the same file I did. 6. Type './configure --prefix=/usr/local' 7. Type 'make' - this step may take a while. (It did on my old 1Ghz G4.) 8. Type 'sudo make install' and when it asks you for your password provide your regular password. That's all there is to it. -- Meatwad650 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meatwad650's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9725 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=38453 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
