I don't have Multilibrary installed and never have.
I have restarted SlimServer several times.
You say that the bitrates menu works for you, but what version of
SlimServer and Custom Browse are you using?
The options you mention are not shown when I create the menu.
When I look in bitrates.xml I understand why you ask: to check if the
xml attribute requireplugins="MultiLibrary::Plugin" is working.
I have started from scratch again, fresh install of both SlimServer and
Custom Browse
sudo apt-get --purge remove slimserver
sudo rm -R /usr/share/slimserver/
sudo rm -R /etc/slimserver/
Configured MUSIC FOLDER and did a scan
Copied the unziped Custom Browse (1.26) to
/usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/
I went:
Custom Browse / Settings / Edit menus / Create new menu / Bitrates /
Next / Save
then I got:
"Error:
No custom dir configured"
I realized that I have to configure these settings:
BROWSE CONFIGURATION DIRECTORY:
/usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/CustomBrowse/Menus
BROWSE TEMPLATES DIRECTORY:
/usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/CustomBrowse/Templates
CONTEXT TEMPLATES DIRECTORY:
/usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/CustomBrowse/ContextTemplates
You might wanto add something about that you have to configure this in
your documentation.
I'm not shure what I am supposed to put in the three settings above,
especially the first one.
Also turned on debugging
Restarted SlimServer
I went:
Custom Browse / Settings / Edit menus / Create new menu / Bitrates /
Next / Save
And got
"Error:

And now when I am near the end of this post I realize that you might
not be all that interested in investigiating this any further since it
is working in your setup which I assume is the latest version of Custom
Browse.
I have not yet tested to solve the problem by installing Multi Library,
I will do that soon and report back here.
