Hi, I love how Dynamic Playlists creates just a small playlist that is continuously updated. This is big improvement over the standard behavior if you have lots of songs to be included in the playlist.
I have some static playlists, often with lots of tracks, that I'd like to play via Dynamic Playlists. However, I'd also like to select songs randomly from these static playlists. Selecting Shuffle|song doesn't work since that just shuffles the songs in the Now Playing list and doesn't influence what songs DP pulls from the playlist. I don't want to just shuffle the static playlist because then I'll get the same "random" sequence of songs every time I play the playlist. I tried to use SQLplaylist to create a random songs playlist, but it doesn't seem possible to limit the action of SQLplaylist to a static playlist (which I can understand, since that's basically defeating the purpose of SQLplaylist). So, is it possible to do what I want?
