The AlienBBC for TS-109 was created by Progressive so it may have some
"custom" changes to suit the QNAP - all I can offer is advice on a
standard installation.
Since the RTSP entries in Server Settings/Filetypes are enabled - it
means that Slimserver has found the mplayer.sh file and a flac binary.
The error below is usually caused by one or of the following not
executing mplayer.sh, mplayer or flac or taking too long:

So check.
1. mplayer.sh is executable.
2. Check location of mplayer and try running. "mplayer" from a shell
prompt.
3. Disable RTSP->FLAC and RTSP->MP3 and try playing a station - this
will mean only mplayer will be used (no Flac) and also reduce CPU load.
