Hi, I guess this is really directed at Erland who writes the excellent plugins, but others may also know the answer...! I have most of my music in FLAC, some of the older stuff in MP3 is being converted to FLAC as I get the time. I have rated most of my music and this obviouly means the MP3's aswell. After changing an album from MP3 to FLAC, with exactly the same tag data and filename, stored in the same folder as the old MP3 album was - I did a rescan. I lost the ratings for that album!! I tried the refresh option (though this is supposed to happen automatically after a rescan in SS ver 6.5 and above) - but this did not fix the issue.
Is there a way (without envoking the Musicbrainz tag idea) that the ratings info can survive a file type change? Am I missing something?
